OUR PROJECTS AT A GLANCE
INSCIENCE runs a portfolio of high-impact projects spanning conferences, education, health media, gender equality, and agency services.
INSCIENCE CONFERENCE
Ukraine's biggest popular science conference, bringing together leading researchers, innovators, and thinkers from around the world.
2018
First INSCIENCE Conference. The speakers included scientists from NASA, the Mars Society, and the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
2023
Second conference focused on the themes Science to Rebuild Ukraine and Science to Win. In addition to the main conference, the project included science-popularization events in Warsaw and Helsinki.
2024
Third conference hosted a three-day event in Kyiv which, alongside the main program, featured an AI pop-up day with a partner.
2025
Fourth conference became an even larger platform for science, technology, and inspiration, attracting a record number of attendees.
2026
Fifth conference brought together more than 1,000 participants and over 50 sperkers from science, healthcare, business, government, and civil society, fostered new cross-sector collaborations, and highlighted the role of science in Ukraine's recovery and long-term development.
SCIENCE KIDS
An educational STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) program that provides children and young people with access to high-quality non-formal education and strengthens the capacity of public schools and extracurricular education institutions to create STEAM programs and improve the quality of STEAM education within their institutions.
Events for children in 5 frontline cities: Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Odesa
600+ events online and offline have been held since the launch of the program. Over 22,000 children have attended events online and offline since 2022
Since 2025, the Science Kids team has delivered training for educators in 10 communities across the Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Odesa regions, as well as in Kyiv.
Following the training, more than 500 teachers organized STEAM activities in their schools using the provided methodology.

In 2025, INSCIENCE conducted a comprehensive study "Women in STEM: Barriers and Motivation" in partnership with the analytical center CEDOS and with the support of UN Women in Ukraine. This is the first study of its kind in Ukraine.
Building an Ecosystem
Based on the study results, we are building a support ecosystem for women in science — fostering career growth and innovation development.
In 2025 based on the research we launched WOMEN LED SCIENCE program
Program created jointly by the NGO INSCIENCE, the technological philanthropy Tokarev Foundation , the educational project STEM is FEM and UN Women Ukraine, to provide systemic support for Ukrainian women scientists. We combine research funding, educational modules, and public communication to help women in science implement their projects and strengthen the visibility of women scientists in Ukraine and internationally.
More than 50 women-led research teams applied to the program, and three were awarded six months of funding to conduct their research.
